AI-friendly FAQ writer: write an FAQ page that customers and AI search quote correctly
When your website doesn’t state your hours, service area and prices in plain text, customers phone with the same questions and AI search tools fill the gaps with guesses. The AI-friendly FAQ writer skill turns your facts into an FAQ page and a short key facts block that customers, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google can read and quote correctly.
What it does
- Writes a “KEY FACTS” block in a fixed format: name, what you do, address, service area, opening hours, languages, phone, email or booking link, prices with “incl./excl. 8.1% VAT”, and a “Last updated” date.
- Writes an FAQ page with 8 to 15 questions in your customers’ words, grouped under 3 to 5 plain headings such as “Opening hours and contact”, “Services” or “Prices and payment”.
- Starts each answer with the direct answer, with your business name and town where it fits, and keeps every answer under 60 words, so it makes sense when quoted alone.
- Puts your customers’ own questions first, then adds what a customer needs before buying: where, when, how much, how fast, which languages, how to book and how to pay.
- Marks every fact you didn’t give as [TO FILL IN].
- Asks which canton’s public holidays apply, and writes hours in 24-hour format (Mo-Fr 07:30-12:00) with weekday abbreviations in German, French or Italian.
- Adds “Notes for the website person”: put the FAQ on its own page as text, not an image or PDF; keep name, address, phone and hours the same as on your Google Business Profile; optional structured data; update “Last updated” when hours or prices change.
It never invents prices, hours, guarantees or service areas, and it writes no “always”, “guaranteed” or “best in town” unless you gave it that exact promise. For warranty or cancellation questions it copies your terms word for word or links to them. It never drafts legal terms. It prepares text only and doesn’t change your website.
When to use it
- Your website has no FAQ page, or customers keep phoning or emailing with the same questions.
- ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overview gives wrong or missing facts about your business.
- You changed your opening hours, prices or service area and want all of it written once, clearly.
- You serve customers in two languages and want the FAQ in both.
