Social month planner: plan and draft a month of social media posts in one sitting
Social media posts get written late at night, one at a time, or not at all. The social month planner skill turns a few facts about your business and next month’s dates into a content calendar with a finished draft for every post, fitted to LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook.
What it does
- Sums up your brief in five lines and asks you to confirm or correct it before it drafts anything.
- Builds a calendar table (date, platform, type, topic, photo idea) with your fixed dates placed first, such as an open day or an offer deadline.
- Rotates three post types: “Show” (a job, product or behind the scenes), “Teach” (one useful tip from your trade) and “Ask or offer” (a question to followers, or an offer with an end date).
- Fits each caption to its platform: LinkedIn 60 to 150 words, Instagram 30 to 80 words, Facebook 40 to 100 words with dates, hours and address in full.
- Gives every post a 5-to-8-word image headline and an image idea using a real photo you can take. No stock-photo clichés.
- Marks every fact it couldn’t confirm from your input as [CHECK].
- Adds “Ask for consent before posting” to any image idea that shows staff or customers.
- Uses Swiss defaults: CHF with VAT status, dates like 06.10.2026 with the weekday checked, Swiss spelling with “ss”, and “Sie” unless your brand uses “du”.
It never invents customer names, reviews, prices, discounts or promises, and it never writes a testimonial. It uses at most one exclamation mark in the whole month. It drafts only. It never posts, schedules or publishes anything.
When to use it
- You want a content plan or social media calendar for next month.
- You have an event, a new product or a seasonal offer coming up and want posts around it.
- You post for a shop, restaurant, trade business or B2B firm and keep running out of post ideas.
- A team member posts for you and you want them to follow a plan in your tone.
If you already have a blog post or newsletter to reuse, the content repurposer turns it into posts.
